Building procurement capability with SAP Ariba

The brief

NNPC Trading Limited engaged Kreivo International to build hands-on SAP Ariba capability within its procurement team. The goal: move beyond system familiarity to confident, day-to-day use of the platform across upstream and downstream procurement workflows.

What we delivered

A five-day, facilitator-led SAP Ariba End-User intensive, designed around the team's live procurement context rather than generic walkthroughs. The programme covered:

• Sourcing and supplier management fundamentals in SAP Ariba
• Contract management workflows
• Procurement operations and guided buying
• Source-to-Pay integration end to end
• Hands-on practice in sandbox environments with real-world scenarios

How we worked

The engagement followed Kreivo's programme pathway. We assessed the team's starting competencies and priorities, built a curriculum around their actual procurement workflows, had participants apply every module in guided, hands-on exercises, and closed with a plan to advance: embedding the skills in daily practice.

The outcome

Participants left with working command of the platform they use every day, and the team identified immediate applications in operational efficiency, cost optimisation and supplier relationship management in their own words, below.
